Old Glory
Through trials and gains, she’s been held high,
Lifting hearts through blood and tears.
She’s greeted many a tired eye,
Waving, valiant through the years.
Red, white and blue, with hand on heart,
We speak allegiance sure,
Grateful for those who’ve done their part
Our freedom to ensure.
We stand protected, free today,
Our homes and those we love,
Secure to grow and learn and pray;
The symbol flies above
At cradle side or battlefield,
She speaks of victories won.
So let her wave in loyalty sealed,
Billowing in the sun.
