The Rustic Rough-hewn Lawn

My lawnmower is on the fritz,
the lawn all scraped and choppy.
We've tried adjusting it in bits,
must be the blade is floppy.

Avert our eyes, and just walk past,
its bad appearance flout
Like a bad haircut can't forever last,
it looks better when it grows out.
