A Good Laugh
It’s laughter comes to pick you up,
And not to let you down;
It perks with kindness in the cup,
Gives ease to any frown.
It takes the edge from weariness;
Our sadness runs and hides,
While the giggles make, with helplessness,
Us shake and hold our sides.
The kind of laughter tickles you,
Never leaves a sour taste,
Because of kindness that comes through,
Troubles are better faced.
